Many herbs are easy to grow from seed or cuttings. Info coming up!


Getting Started Under Lights

Some seeds take longer to germinate and grow. Starting plants inside will give you a head start on the growing season so you can harvest earlier.
It’s not complicated! It’s using good lighting, knowing your specific plant’s temperature and moisture requirements, and your timing for planting and transplanting.

There are so many kinds of basil: Thai, sweet, purple ruffles, cinnamon, Genovese,…
Herbs will also flower if you let them, but once they flower, the flavour changes, and the plant begins to shut down production for the year. So keep them pinched off before they form.
